Knowing which number to call helps ensure the fastest and most appropriate response.

When to Call 911

Call 911 immediately for situations involving immediate danger to life, property, or public safety, including fires, medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents with injuries, carbon monoxide alarms, gas leaks, or any situation that requires urgent response.

When to Use a Non-Emergency Contact

Use the Fire District’s non-emergency contact for questions or requests that do not require immediate assistance, such as fire prevention and safety education inquiries, public education or school presentation requests, smoke or CO detector guidance, community outreach, or general service questions.

If you are unsure whether your situation is an emergency, call 911. It is always better to err on the side of safety.
