We are Wilton Fire

Serving Wilton Since 1947

Founded in 1947

The Wilton Fire District has been proudly protecting life and property in our community since its establishment in 1947.

As a special district of New York State, the department is powered entirely by local volunteers and governed by a publicly elected Board of Fire Commissioners.

Our department is made up of dedicated men and women from the Wilton community who give their time and energy to keep their neighbors safe.

Many of our members have served for years — and some for decades — providing the consistency, experience, and heart that define our district.

Our People

The Wilton Fire District is powered by a dedicated team of volunteers and overseen by a publicly elected Board of Fire Commissioners.

Together, these individuals serve as the elected leaders of the WVFD, entrusted by the community to provide governance, oversight, and strategic direction. Each member brings unique experience, skills, and a deep commitment to serving the Wilton community.
